What is the Kingdom of Heaven
God is the Answer: Chapter 4, Day 1
Jesus said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.” But what is this kingdom—and where is it found?
In this chapter, we’re reminded that the kingdom of heaven is not a place we go to someday. It is a state of awareness—the condition of our own mind and heart toward God.
The author describes a powerful realization:
“The kingdom is simply the state of my own mind and heart toward God.”
It is the inner place where you recognize God as present, active, and available to you—right now.
Reflection
When you hear the word God, what do you feel first?
Do you think of God as distant… or present within you?
Daily Practice
Take one quiet minute today and say inwardly:
“God is here with me now.”
Notice how that feels.
Affirmation
“The kingdom of God is within me, here and now.”
